Soames Treffry has over 16 years experience working for FOX Sports and related brands, most recently as the Director of Fox Sports Channels, a role encompassing production, programming and promos.

Beginning as a production assistant, Soames rose through the ranks of Producers at FOX SPORTS with particular emphasis on multi camera, live special event television. He led the team that launched the HOW TO Channel (now Lifestyle Home), changed the programming strategy of FUEL TV from pure action sports to a mix of male orientated programming including UFC, MMA and Surfing.

In 2006 Soames chaired the team that launched Australia’s first 24 hour sports news channel, FOX SPORTS News. The channel was launched in an operational window of 4 months recruiting 98 people nationally and the construction of a bespoke news facility in Sydney.

The Director of Television and Commercial is focussed on client facing roles within Global and the development of full service, complete turn key productions on behalf of new and existing clients.
