Established in 1988, Global Television is uniquely resourced to meet our clients' needs, regardless of project size, complexity or logistical demands.
We are the leading services provider of Australian outside broadcast (OB) and external studio requirements for the country's television networks and major program producers.
Global Television is proud to have supported our clients in many successful projects over the years, including Australian icon Neighbours, AFL and NRL premiership seasons, V8 Supercars, Hi-5, Deal or No Deal the Brownlow Medal Count and many more.
Global Television's OB inventory includes three high definition (HD) digital vans - including the recent addition of two super trucks - and two portable HD units. Global runs a fleet of five standard definition (SD) digital vans to service all client needs. Our HD units have been the first choice for major Australian events, such as the Australian Idol finale, Rove, So You Think You Can Dance Australia, and the ARIA Music Awards.
Global's Broadcast Engineering design and integration group designed and constructed our two brand new HD double-expanding OB super trucks, and they also maintain the rest of the company's HD and SD fleet.

Our engineers recently completed the design and integration of the broadcast installation at both Robina Stadium on the Gold Coast and the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
In addition to our facilities service, Global's technical crews deliver more than 2,000 hours of television airtime each year. With access to over 1,500 freelancers and approximately 150 full time Global staff, we can crew any project with some of Australia’s most skilled and experienced television professionals.
