Global Television congratulates clients on sensational year!
20-Jul-2011Global Television congratulates its clients on a sensational first half of calendar 2011.
In a credit to all networks, TV audiences have soared in the January-June period on the back of diverse and compelling programming.
Compared to the first six months of 2010, viewers in metro areas are watching an additional 35 minutes of television each week, while regional viewers are watching an extra 1 hour and 45 minutes a week.*
Of particular significance: Australian programs dominate the most-watched programs, with all but two of the top ten shows locally made.
Global Television is proud to have facilitated six of those top ten programs, and 31 of the top 100.
The second half of the year is looking bright too, with a wealth of new and returning Australian shows in store, and all broadcasters – free-to-air and subscription alike – confirming their commitment to local production.
Global Television looks forward to being part of our valued clients’ continued success.
