Widely recognised as the cornerstone of the Vision Research product line, the V640s boast 4 megapixel sensors, providing full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution at 2700 frames per second. This offers amazing HD imagery and detail together with one of the most sensitive sensors in the market. Global has packaged the V640 cameras to include full remote control via EVS, laptop or through Global’s bespoke control panel with a full camera control panel for colour matching. The cameras have live and delayed output, allowing the broadcaster to use it as a live camera in certain applications while replaying high speed at the same time. The two V640s can also be used as a synchronous pair, ideal for 3D high-speed applications, as demonstrated with the 2010 AFL Grand Final. Global has deployed the V640 super slo-mo cameras on a variety of projects including the 2010 Ashes Series, Australian V8 Supercars and the Stereosonic Australia 2011 television commercial. |
